4510-01-658-0266 A self contained unit consisting of a group of components and/or parts required to perform the function of waste disposal aboard both military and civilian aircraft. It may be of the vacuum type system, utilizing differential pressure to transport waste material from the bowl to a central holding tank; or of the recirculating type, providing a tangential flush pattern which removes waste form the bowl. The item may be electric or manually operated. The toilet is designed to convert from left hand to right hand configuration if required to reduce overall inventory.
